The President, who inaugurated "DSK Superinfocom" campus near here, set up with French collaboration, said, the growth in the industry would give scope to conceptualisation and creativity of the Indian students in the field.

The French Ambassador Francois Richier was among those who attended the function.

Speaking at another function, Patil called for eradication of social evil of female foeticide, describing it as "reprehensible".
