Airtel Broadband launches voice chat service

Airtel Broadband and Telephone Services (Airtel B&TS) on Monday launched voice chat service on Airtel fixed lines.

NEW DELHI: Airtel Broadband and Telephone Services (Airtel B&TS) on Monday launched voice chat service on Airtel fixed lines.
The service will enable customers to talk anonymously with other Airtel mobile and fixed-Line customers across the country, the company said.
"Airtel's launch of voice chat on telephone is yet another innovative service, offering more than the traditional voice calls, for our fixed line customers," Airtel B&TS President Atul Bindal said.
The key aspect of this service is that it enables customers especially women - to search for friends from strangers without the risk of exposing their real identity, it added.
The service is available to customers at a monthly rental of Rs 30 per month and a call charge of Rs 3 per minute. However, the service will be free till June 30.
