Ahamed inaugurates Kerala 'IT Alliance' website in US

NEW YORK: Minister of State for External Affairs E Ahamed has launched a website, developed by IT professionals from Kerala in the US, which aims at providing information about the development of state.
Speaking on the occasion, Ahamed urged the professionals in the US to use their expertise to help India develop in various fields, especially IT sector.
He also urged them to explore possibilities for cooperation at micro level in the fast growing Indian economy.
Individual entrepreneurs can now make a lot of differences as there is little interference from the government, he said.
"The initiative is all about bringing together IT Professionals of Kerala Origin in the US and to leverage their knowledge and skill set to help Kerala move forward in IT development," said George Abraham, Chairman of the Board of Directors of newly formed Kerala IT Alliance (KITA).
