Aeris appoints former Tech Mahindra digital head to lead India operations

MUMBAI: Aeris, which provides internet-of-things solutions, said it was entering India and had appointed Rishi Bhatnagar as president of operations in the market.

Bhatnagar was previously global head of Digital Enterprise Services at Tech Mahindra. His Linkedin profile states that he joined Aeris in February.

Digital services contributed close to 11% of the TechM’s revenue in the third-quarter and is growing faster than overall revenue, TechM has said,

“Our business is expanding rapidly in all geographies, and we believe that India is on the cusp of explosive growth. Dr. Bhatnagar’s experience and leadership will help to accelerate our momentum and strengthen relationships with our key stakeholders in India,” Marc Jones, Chairman and CEO of Aeris, said in a statement.

Aeris has appointed taken away other TechM executives. The company appointed Arvind Gopalakrishnan as Vice President of Sales Engineering and Customer Success. Gopalakrishnan was group practice and delivery head for digital enterprise services at TechM. His Linkedin profile shows that he joined Aeris in March.
