Wipro launches a 40,000-sq-ft tech innovation studio in Austin

Mumbai: Global tech giant Wipro announced on Thursday that it has launched a 40,000-sq-ft Innovation Studio in Austin, Texas, as it looks to create jobs and strengthen its impact on the city’s technology scene.

The studio at in the technology and research park is designed to be a productive, state-of-art collaborative space comprising 36 huddle rooms, 12 conference rooms and 330 individual think spaces, the company said in a statement.

The Innovation Studio will leverage Wipro’s reservoir of IPs, patents, and innovation DNA, Wipro added.


Srini Pallia, chief executive of Americas 1, Wipro, said, “With an objective to provide an innovation hub and think tank for partners and clients, our Innovation Studio will be the foundation to co-develop high-quality technology solutions for digital engineering, cyber security leveraging Java Full Stack, Cloud, Snowflake, and S/4HANA technologies, amongst others.”

Wipro opened its first innovation center in Silicon Valley in August 2017.
