Wipro appoints Jasjit Singh Kang as head of digital operations & platforms

Pune: IT services and consulting firm Wipro has appointed Jasjit Singh Kang as the new head of Digital Operations and Platforms (DOP) of Wipro’s iCORE (Integrated Cloud Infrastructure, Digital Operations, Risk and Enterprise Cyber Security Services) business. Kang joined Wipro in 2018 as part of the Alight acquisition and played a key role in integrating the business and leading the Asia Pacific operations. In his new role, he will focus on driving delivery operations and business growth and report to Nagendra Bandaru, Managing Partner - iCORE, Wipro.

Prior to this, Kang has worked across companies like Genpact, WNS and AON and spent seven years in banking at Citibank, Bank of America and ANZ Grindlays. “These are exciting times and Wipro is in a strong position to grow with integrated technology and digital capability,” said Jasjit Singh Kang, Senior Vice President and Head, iCORE-DOP, Wipro.

Kang has over 28 years of technology and business leadership experience and has expertise in areas of operations management technology-based innovation, business development, and relationship management.

Kang has an MBA from the Central Queensland University, Australia, and is a certified Six Sigma practitioner.
