TCS paid CEO K Krithivasan Rs 26.5 crore in FY25

Krithivasan who assumed the role of chief executive and managing director at TCS in 2023, saw his total pay package increase from Rs 25.45 crore a year earlier. In FY25, his total compensation constituted a base salary of Rs 1.40 crore, benefits and allowances of Rs 2.13 crore and a commission of Rs 23 crore. His pay ratio to the median remuneration of employees is 329.8, data showed.
In FY24, Krithivasan earned Rs 25.2 crore. Infosys CEO Salil Parekh earned Rs 66 crore the same year, while Thierry Delaporte of Wipro received Rs 166 crore, one of the highest pay packages in the IT industry.
Employee hikes
TCS rolled out an average annual increment of 4.5%-7% for its 6 lakh workforce with top performers receiving double digit increment. After accounting for promotions and other event based compensation, total compensation increase ranged between 5.5%-7.5%, the company said. Employees outside India received a wage increase varying from 1.5-6%, as per regional standards.
Earlier this month, TCS rolled out 100% quarterly variable pay to 70% of its employee base while the rest of the employees have received variable pay in the lower range and depending on the performance of their respective business units.
ET reported on May 15 that Infosys released performance bonus letters for eligible employees for the January-March (Q4FY2024-25) quarter. Much of the workforce saw the payout as being significantly lower than the previous one, employees told ET.
In April, Infosys had reported an 11.7% year-on-year fall in net profit to Rs 7,033 crore. The revenue guidance for the year 2025-26 was also in a low-single-digit range.
