Tata Consultancy Services to power retailers with Nvidia accelerated computing

Indian IT bellwether Tata Consultancy Services said it will integrate Nvidia's accelerated computing solutions with its offerings to global retailers, it said in a statement on Friday.

TCS said it has embedded Nvidia AI Enterprise software into its bouquet of retail products and solutions. The IT major has a dedicated Nvidia business unit for integrating the US chipmaker's technology capabilities with its solutions for AI adoption among customers. There are 12 major solution offerings across industries and nine centres of excellence, according to TCS.

"Retailers are turning to AI — from agentic assistants and in-store computer vision to advanced data science and digital twins — to drive transformation across every step of their value chain. By integrating Nvidia’s technologies into their platforms, TCS is able to help retailers automate operations, deliver personalised experiences, and simulate business and operation scenarios with faster performance," said Azita Martin, vice president and general manager, retail and CPG, Nvidia.


TCS is offering AI solutions for low-cost AI adoption, video store analytics, competitor strategy analysis and retail simulation-as-a-service, it mentioned in the statement.

TCS shares were trading at 3,165.70, down 0.35% as of 3:07 pm, compared to the benchmark Nifty at 25,316.75, down 0.42%.
