LTI Mindtree, India’s sixth-largest software services company, reported an 11.7% decline in net profit on-year to Rs 959 crore for September-December period, weighed down by one-time expenses of Rs 590 crore related to labour code implementation.

Sequentially, too, profit was down 30.5%, although the bottomline climbed, excluding the one-off items.

In December, revenue at Rs 10,781 crore grew 11.6% from a year earlier, and 3.7% from the second quarter, driven by improving deal momentum, AI-led demand and cost discipline. The company is aiming to double its revenue in the next five years, after crossing the Rs 10,000-crore topline mark in the July-September 2025 quarter.


“We delivered 6.1% year-on-year growth this quarter, and we are getting better with every quarter,” said managing director and chief executive Venu Lambu, adding that the company is nearing the double-digit growth target as it heads into the March quarter.

“In parallel, we are preparing for the next phase of our growth journey in FY27 and beyond, this will be anchored in a strategic repositioning of the brand, sharpening our ability to complete more effectively in the marketplace and deliver a tangible outcome for our clients,” he said at the post-earnings call on Monday.
