L&T Infotech appoints Tech Mahindra’s Anil Rander as CFO

Pune: L&T Infotech Ltd. has appointed Tech Mahindra Ltd.’s Anil Rander as its chief financial officer, the Larsen & Toubro Group company said on Thursday.

Rander served as the senior vice president for finance and legal functions, and global head of finance for business process services (BPS), at the Pune-headquartered IT firm.

“The role of CFO is evolving rapidly, and I am pleased to welcome Anil to our leadership team at this critical juncture in our journey,” Sanjay Jalona, chief executive officer and managing director at L&T Infotech, said. “His (Rander’s) financial leadership and business acumen will enable us to chart the next phase of growth. We remain committed to pushing industry benchmarks on business excellence.”


Rander has over 27 years of experience across companies like Hutchison Max Telecom, Alpic Finance and AF Ferguson & Co. His expertise ranges across business and financial strategy formulation, fiscal management, corporate accounting, investor relations, pricing, risk management, internal audit and financial controls.

A qualified chartered account, cost accountant and a company secretary, he has won multiple industry accolades during his career. He will be based out of L&T Infotech’s headquarters in Mumbai.
