Infosys to hire 20,000 freshers in FY27, says CFO

Infosys chief financial officer Jayesh Sanghrajka on Thursday said the company plans to hire 20,000 freshers in FY27.

Sanghrajka was speaking after announcing the company's fourth quarter results for FY26. The second-largest IT services company's total employee count stood at 3,28,594 at the end of the quarter ended March.

The IT major reported a 20.8% rise in consolidated net profit to Rs 8,501 crore in the January-March quarter of FY26. The Bengaluru-headquartered firm had posted a net profit of Rs 7,033 crore in the same period of FY25.


The company’s revenue from operations increased 13.4% to Rs 46,402 crore in Q4 FY26 compared to Rs 40,925 crore in the year-ago period.
