Software major Infosys today announced the expansion of its collaboration with ExxonMobil to deploy the latter’s suite of data centre immersion fluids, which, per an Infosys statement, help enhance energy efficiency.

This initiative builds on Infosys’ commitment to energy innovation, decarbonisation, and cross-industry alliances, the statement said.

The collaboration will enable the development and deployment of high-efficiency cooling systems that can meet the growing demands of AI and high-performance computing (HPC) workloads, the software major said.


Infosys Topaz will enable real-time optimisation of cooling operations, while Infosys Cobalt will provide a secure, scalable foundation for the deployment of solutions across cloud and data centre environments. Additionally, Infosys will focus on scalable solutions for hyperscalers, global enterprises, and public sector organisations across industries like financial services, telecom, manufacturing, energy, and government, the statement said.
