LTIMindtree bags largest-ever $450 million deal with global agribusiness player

LTIMindtree, the technology services and digital solutions arm of Larsen & Toubro (L&T), has clinched its largest-ever deal -- a $450 million, seven-year engagement with a leading global agribusiness player, it said in a statement on Monday.

“This marks a pivotal milestone as we shift to an AI-driven business model,” said Venu Lambu, CEO (designate) and whole-time director, LTIMindtree.

As part of the agreement, LTIMindtree will deploy an AI-powered operating model to manage applications, infrastructure, and cybersecurity services. The engagement will leverage platforms including SAP S/4HANA, ServiceNow, Microsoft Azure, and the company’s proprietary AI frameworks for scalability and operational efficiency, it said.


The deal is also seen as a significant boost for LTIMindtree’s consumer services vertical. “It’s a major breakthrough,” said Samir Gosavi, chief business officer – retail and CPG. “Our AI-driven model will deliver measurable impact in an industry undergoing rapid transformation.”

LTIMindtree’s stock rose 6.97% to close at Rs 4,942 apiece on the BSE Monday. The announcement was made during market hours.

In the fourth quarter of fiscal 2025, the company’s net profit grew by 2.5% on-year to Rs 1,129 crore while revenue grew 9.9% to Rs 9,772 crore.

For the full financial year 2025, LTIMindtree’s net profit declined 1.7% to $544 million in constant currency terms (adjusted for currency fluctuations), while revenue grew 4.8% to $4.5 billion. In rupee terms, profit was almost flat at Rs 4,602 crore, and revenue grew 7% to Rs 38,008 crore.
