HCLTech wins TIBCO deal, 400 employees to be rebadged

HCLTech, said on Monday, that it has won a deal to be the exclusive preferred professional services agreement partner for Cloud Software Group- the holding company of enterprise software provider TIBCO. HCLTech will help implement, upgrade, modernise and provide services for all TIBCO products for enterprise customers across the globe. Deal financials were not disclosed.

Close to 400 professional services employees from Cloud Software Group with expertise in TIBCO products will transition to HCLTech, bringing their domain knowledge to serve ongoing customer relationships for HCLTech's existing TIBCO Center of Excellence.

Cloud Software Group is the company formed upon completion of the Citrix take-private transaction and related combination with TIBCO. Today, Cloud Software Group provides the modern enterprise with software through its brands, including TIBCO, Citrix, NetScaler, Spotfire, XenServer, ShareFile, and Jaspersoft.
