HCLTech’s software business division HCLSoftware has announced its intent to acquire 100% stake in Croatia-based Robotiq.ai, a provider of enterprise robotic process automation (RPA) platform for nine million euros, the IT company informed the stock exchanges on Monday.

The company will acquire 100% of the outstanding equity of Robotiq.ai to be acquired by HCL Technologies Austria GmbH, a step- down wholly owned subsidiary of HCLTech, for a cash consideration of nine million euros adjusted for customary post-closing adjustments for net debt and working capital, HCLTech, India’s third largest IT services company, said in a filing.

The acquisition is expected to close in November 2026.

“Robotiq.ai adds enterprise RPA capabilities that allow AI-driven workflows to automate tasks in applications where APIs are unavailable or insufficient, extending HCL UnO Agentic's orchestration capabilities from decision-making to execution,” the filing said.

Robotiq.ai was founded in August 2018 and has a networth of 0.8 million euros. It had reported revenues of 0.9 million in 2023 and 2024 each. For 2025 ending December, it reported a profit of 0.2 million euros on a revenue of 1.4 million euros in 2025.

The European company provides enterprise-grade RPA capabilities to automate repetitive, manual processes across business applications, mainly used in large banks, insurance groups and telecom providers.

Robotiq.ai strengthens HCL UnO Agentic by combining orchestration with enterprise-grade execution, helping customers confidently deploy and scale agentic AI across their operations," said Kalyan Kumar, president at HCLSoftware.

Darko Jovišić, CEO & co-founder, Robotiq.ai, said, “We built Robotiq.ai on a simple belief: automation should be useful, fast to deploy, and reliable in production. Joining HCLSoftware gives our technology the enterprise reach, scale, and platform.”
