Cognizant acquires two verticals of Workday partner OneSource

Nasdaq-listed Cognizant, which has the majority of its workforce in India, said on Wednesday it has bought the professional services and app management practices of US firm OneSource Virtual, an implementation partner of US-based financial and human capital management firm Workday.

Cognizant did not disclose the size of the deal, which closes by year-end.

Cognizant will add 400 employees of OneSource through the deal, bolstering its strength of certified professionals who can do Workday implementation and support. "Located throughout the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom, these individuals will join Cognizant as part of its Collaborative Solutions team, the hub of Cognizant's Workday practice. Acquired by Cognizant in 2020, Collaborative Solutions is one of the longest-tenured Workday Services Partners," Cognizant said.


OneSource . founded in 2008, focuses on the North America (US + Canada) and European markets, offering productivity and compliance solutions for over 1,300 customers, the release said.
