Zync launches Z-18 2G calling tablet at Rs 6,009

MUMBAI: Zync Global on Thursday launched its new 2G calling tablet, Z-18, at a price point of Rs 6,009.

The 7-inch tablet is powered by A23 dual core processor, and comes with 2MP Pure View camera and 0.3MP secondary camera, the company said in a statement.

The new tablet will be available for purchase on various e-commerce marketplaces such as Snapdeal.com, HomeShop18.com, Naaptol.com and Shopclues.com.

Z-18 features a 4GB internal memory that can be further expanded up to 32 GB with a microSD card, and powered by 1.5 GHz dual processor.

The tablet features capacitive multi-touch screen with a resolution of 800×480 pixels and runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. The device comes with 512 MB RAM.

Abhinav Agarwal, chief technology officer at Zync Global, said that with the new tablet, the company is targeting consumers in smaller cities as there was tremendous demand for 2G devices owing to the poor Internet connectivity in those areas.
