Yu to sell Yureka smartphone on Amazon in January

NEW DELHI: Micromax-owned Yu Televentures will start selling its first smartphone, Yureka, from early January, according to a top company executive.

India’s second largest smartphone maker Micromax has an exclusive partnership with US-based operating system maker Cyanogen for using its Cyanogen-Mod technology in the new device. Booking for the .`8,999, dual-sim, LTE-enabled phone will start on e-commerce major Amazon.in at 2 pm on Friday.
