Xiaomi names ex-Snapdeal executive Raghu Reddy as online sales head for India

NEW DELHI: Raghu Reddy, senior director at Snapdeal, heading the mobile and tablet business has joined Xiaomi as head of online sales.

Xiaomi India head Manu Jain tweeted about Reddy joining the Chinese smartphone maker, who came on board last week.

Reddy comes after spending four years in Snapdeal and another four prior to that in leading consultancy Ernst and Young.

Xiaomi is focusing on offline in India and recently got two new distributors onboard. However, 90% of its sales still come from the online space in India, at present.
