Vakrangee inks deal with Eastman Kodak, to invest 200 cr

E-governance and printing management company Vakrangee Softwares has entered into a strategic alliance with Eastman Kodak to offer personalised customer communication practices in India.

MUMBAI: E-governance and printing management company Vakrangee Softwares has entered into a strategic alliance with Eastman Kodak to offer personalised customer communication practices in India.

"Vakrangee's state-of-the-art application solution, coupled with Kodak's cutting-edge technology, will empower document-intensive companies like banks, insurance, telecom, retail and power distribution companies to transform their customer communication practices in a very short period," Vakrangee's Managing Director Dinesh Nandwana, said here.

"Celebrating its 40th anniversary of continuous inkjet technology (CIJ), Kodak has conferred Vakrangee Softwares with a Gold Plus partnership of InkJet Systems. This accredition has various levels based on volumes and marketing initiatives for developing print business on Kodak Versamark," Eastman Kodak's Inkjet Printing Solutions General Manager Isidre Rosello said.

India would constitute the fastest growing and biggest market for Kodak, Rosello said.

"We intend to invest Rs 200 crore in the coming months to build global hubs for meeting end-to-end document management solution requirements of the transnational clients across the globe," Nandwana added.

Vakrangee has already acquired land near Karjat in Maharashtra and Gurgaon for setting up the global hubs. It also plans to set up similar hubs in Chennai and Kolkata soon.

The solution from Vakrangee will enable the fast-growing retail, telecom, BFSI companies to automate the workflow to design, personalise, produce, deliver and manage high volumes of customer communication statements in a print and web- enabled environment in a highly secured manner, the MD said.
