TVS- E offers range of POS products

CHENNAI: TVS Electronics has expanded its portfolio in IT hardware with a comprehensive range of retail point of sale products ( POS). It includes printers ( thermal & dot matrix), integrated touch screen, barcode scanner, electronic cash register and cashing counting machines, customer pole displays.

The POS products are meant to cater to diverse applications like textiles, food & grocery, restaurants, hospitals, educational institutions, pharama stores, jewellery stores, book stores, electronic show rooms and logistics. Company said in a statement, the products are diversified to suit the heterogeneous mix of lakhs of Indian retailers with over 25-30 hardware solutions.

TVS- E senior vice president, POS & solutions business group, V Shankar said with an improve scenario in the Indian retail market, there arises the need for sustaining the momentum with sharp technology and greater focus on customer convenience.

In an effort to modernise the Indian retail scenario, TVS-E with its tradition of innovation and customisation, has devised customer friendly hardware technology sought by a small kirana shop owner to a large retailer operating chain of stores in malls and shopping centres.
