MUMBAI: Online home services aggregator Timesaverz has launched a service that will have its technicians visiting customers’ homes for mobile phone repairs.

"Mobiles are a very personal thing. Repairing an issue with regard to your phone in your presence is most comfortable," said CEO Debadutta Upadhyaya.

The service has debuted in Mumbai and will be rolled out to another five cities in a month, she said.

"By next month, you will see four more services being added under a completely new category on the website," Upadhyaya said.

Mumbai-based Timesaverz has had to dial back on some services such as ‘Drivers on Demand’ and has decided to be more prudent with how it uses its funds.

Upadhyaya said the three-year-old company, which received Rs 15 crore in funding from Ronnie Screwvala’s investment arm Unilazer Ventures in August last year, is well-funded for the next 12-16 months and not looking to raise capital sooner.
