Tata Docomo names Balaji Prakash as head operations in Karnataka

NEW DELHI: Tata Docomo Thursday said it has appointed Balaji Prakash as Consumer Business Unit (CBU) Head of Karnataka and Kerala Circle.

Prakash would be responsible for overseeing the company's operations and business in the 3G telecom markets of Karnataka and Kerala.

Prakash, who was earlier working as the CBU Head for Tata Teleservices in the Tamil Nadu region, has 18 years of industry experience.

"Karnataka and Kerala are two Tata Docomo's priority circles and we are working towards strengthening our existing products and services. We are constantly innovating to present great new value propositions to our customers. Backed by a high-performing and passionate team, we are confident of achieving the next phase of growth and expanding Tata Docomo's footprint here," said Prakash on his new role.

He has previously served as the Business Head at FMCG conglomerate CavinKare.
