Spice launches Stellar 520, Stellar 526 android smartphones in affordable segment

NEW DELHI: Spice Retail Ltd, a part of Spice Group, launched Android 4.4-based Spice Stellar 520 and Stellar 526 smartphones, priced at Rs 8,999 and Rs 11, 499 respectively.

The new devices have dual-SIM capabilities and features 1.3GHz quad core processor and 1.5Ghz hexa core processors respectively.

Spice Stellar 526 features an 8 MP rear camera with autofocus and a 3.2 MP front camera while the other variant, Stellar 520, comes with an 8 mega-pixel AF rear camera with LED flash and a front-facing 2 MP camera.

"We have always strived to bring devices that are not budget heavy and this certainly creates ripples in the domestic smartphone space, thus making the high end products affordable," TM Ramakrishnan, CEO, Devices at Spice Retail said.
