Samsung Galaxy S III: What all we know about it
We have compiled all the information on this device and if this is to be true, then there is no doubt that Galaxy S III would be one spectacular smartphone.

So everyone is eagerly awaiting the latest Android superphone from Samsung. We know that Samsung will officially announce this device on May 3 in London as per a recently leaked invite send by Samsung to Tweakers.net. Although the invite says ‘Come and meet the next Galaxy’ and does not specifically mention it to be the Galaxy S III, but it obviously means the same.
So far there have been a lot of speculations and leaks regarding this upcoming Samsung smartphone. To keep things simple we have compiled all the information we have on this device and if this is to be true, then there is no doubt that the Samsung Galaxy S III would be one spectacular smartphone.
Availability
The Samsung Galaxy S II launched in India sometime in the month of May and it seems that the Samsung Galaxy S III may launch around the same time, maybe by the end of June.
The HTC One X a phone from the Taiwanese manufacturer which is one of the competitors to this device is priced at Rs 36,000 and we are guessing that the Samsung Galaxy SIII will be priced in the same segment somewhere between Rs 40,000 and 35,000.

Competitors
So far it seems that the device has three main competitors the first being the already available HTC One X, followed by the upcoming LG Optimus 4X. The third of course is the yet to be released Apple iPhone 5. In case we missed out on any devices feel free to add them in the comments.
Little is officially known about the device, but here are some rumors and speculations:
Display
There is no doubt that the device will come with one of the best available displays. It is expected to sport a 4.65-inch HD Super AMOLED Plus display with a 1280 x 720 pixel resolution. Some rumors also suggest that it will be an edge-to-edge display.

DesignIt is expected to be much slimmer than the Galaxy S II and sport a ceramic back. Also, the edge-to-edge display will give to a much fresh look compared to other upcoming devices.
Processor
It is quite obvious that the device will sport a quad-core Exynos processor which will be clocked at around 1.5 GHz to 1.6 GHz. It will also include a dedicated graphics processor. In regards to the memory it will include 1GB of RAM and may come in different storage size variations, similar to the iPhone.

SoftwareObviously the device will runs the latest version of Google’s mobile operating system aka Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. This will be skinned with the new version of Samsung’s proprietary TouchWiz UI.

CameraIt is expected that the device will sport a 12 megapixel camera.
