Panasonic expands smartphone range with P81

NEW DELHI: Panasonic on Tuesday expanded its P series of smartphone with the launch P81, the latest flagship smartphone, and priced it at Rs 18,990 for India.

The P81 smartphone, featuring a 5.5-inch HD display and powered by a 1.7GHz octa-core processor, will be available to consumers in India from Wednesday, the company said.

The device runs on Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean) and features 13MP Full HD capable Autofocus rear camera and 2MP front camera. The dual SIM smartphone comes with a 2500 mAh battery.

Panasonic has bundled the smartphone with apps worth Rs 9,900, including Evernote six-month premium services worth Rs 1800, free entertainment download from Hungama for a month. The company has also bundled accessories worth Rs 2,000 with the smartphone.
