OnePlus 6 witnesses record sale of one million units in 22 days in India
Lau said in the five years since the company was started, OnePlus has grown to become a global presence across 35 countries.

This comes on back of achieving the $ one billion revenue mark in India making for almost one-third of the company's global revenue, he said.
In a forum post, Lau said that OnePlus has emerged as the best-selling premium smartphone in India in just three years in the market.
As per Hong Kong based market tracker Counterpoint Research, OnePlus overtook Apple and Samsung in April to June quarter cornering over 40% share of the Indian premium smartphone market with devices priced over Rs 30,000.
"This young market (India) is now set to become our second home ground, a center for product innovation. Our new R&D center in India is just the beginning," said Lau.
Lau said in the five years since the company was started, OnePlus has grown to become a global presence across 35 countries. He said India is the benchmark for creating successful global products.
