Nokia Lumia smartphones, the first devices running on Windows Phone operating system from the Finnish giant, will be available in the markets starting tomorrow.

KOLKATA: Nokia Lumia smartphones, the first devices running on Windows Phone operating system from the Finnish giant, will be available in the markets starting tomorrow.

"Lumia will be available in stores, at least in the metros, from tomorrow. In the next few days the product will be made available across 100 cities," Nokia India Director (Marketing) Viral Oza said today.

Though, the company is embarking on one of its biggest marketing blitz for the product, Oza declined to speak on how much incremental business or market share it can gain from the Windows based smartphones.

"According to a study, we have 42.8 market share in smartphone," he said.

The Lumia 800 is priced at Rs 29,999 and the Lumia 710 at Rs 18,999.

Despite using the Mango platform, Nokia intends to continue to use both 'Belle' and 'Anna' versions of its Symbian operating system at least for the next two to three years.
