Mobile accessories brand PTron expands offline network in India

Mobile accessories online sales brand PTron, owned by listed firm Palred Technologies, has announced expanding its offline network in the country and appointed Playtime Electronics as its sixth lead distributor in the domestic market, covering Telangana region.

The other five lead distributors are located in New Delhi, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Pune and Jaipur, while the overall distributors’ network of PTron has crossed 40 spread over 12 states across the country.

In a statement, the company said its existing distribution channel was able to reach over 700 outlets to sell 15,000 pieces a month and the target was to set up a network of 120 distributors to sell 50,000 pieces a month by current fiscal-end.


So far, PTron has invested around Rs 3 crore for inventory build-up for distribution channel and an additional Rs 2 crore was allocated for supporting retail partners through brand building and marketing initiatives.

With widest range of mobile accessories in the country, PTron has so far delivered over five million items to its customers over multiple online platforms.
