Microsoft launches Nokia Lumia 630 for Rs 10,500

Both single SIM and dual SIM variants of Lumia 630 have similar specifications and dimensions. You get a 4.5-inch touchscreen (854 x 480 pixels), changeable rear shells and a 1.2Ghz quad core Snapdragon 400 processor. Other specifications include 512MB RAM, 8GB storage, microSD slot (support up to 128GB cards) and a 1,830mAh battery. It has a 5MP autofocus rear camera that does 720p HD video recording but lacks a front camera. It weighs 134 grams and is also the first Lumia with 3G Dual SIM support.
On the operating system front, Windows Phone 8.1 gives you a new keyboard with swipe functionality, a new action center and a number of personalization options. It inlcudes a bundle of services including Mix Radio, Camera, Here Maps and Here Drive with turn-by-turn navigation directions. The devices also come with low power motion sensors that work in conjunction with various health and fitness apps to track your steps, distance travelled and calories burnt.
The Lumia 630 single Sim is priced at Rs 10,500 whereas the dual SIM is priced at Rs 11,500. Both phones will be available for from May 16 2014. Special offers at launch include 3G data for 2 months (1GB limit) from Vodafone, a 2 month subscription for Box TV and eBooks worth Rs 2,000 from Flipkart.
