Microsoft Devices introduces cash back offer on Lumia 830 and 930

NEW DELHI: Microsoft Devices Thursday said that it is offering a guaranteed cash-back offer of Rs 7,000 on its premium devices - Lumia 830 and 930 - as part of its Holi festival promotions.

The company said that the cash back amount will be offered upfront to all consumers who walk in to a retail store starting February 20. Post the offer, the Lumia 830 will be available at Rs 21,800 while the Lumia 930 will be offered at Rs 31,600, the company said in a statement, adding that the offer is subject to availability of stock.

Lumia 930 and Lumia 830 smartphones were launched in India in October 2014 at Rs 38,649 and Rs 28,799, respectively. Both of the phones run Windows Phone 8.1 operating system.

Lumia 830 has a 5-inch screen with HD (720p) resolution and Gorilla Glass 3 layer and comes with 16GB internal storage. It has a 10MP Carl Zeiss camera with LED flash on the back and a 0.9MP camera in front. The device is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor and 1GB of RAM.

Lumia 930 features a 5-inch Full HD display and runs on a 2.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor with 2GB RAM. It comes with a 20MP Carl Zeiss camera on the back and a 1.2MP camera in front.
