LG announces Optimus Vu II with 5-inch display
The Vu II is powered by a 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor and runs Android 4.0 ICS.

LG has officially announced the Optimus Vu II phablet, the successor to the Optimus Vu. The new Optimus Vu II has a 5-inch IPS display with a 1024x768 pixels resolution and an unconventional aspect ratio. The Vu II is powered by a 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor and runs Android 4.0 ICS.
The Optimus Vu II is equipped with an 8 megapixel camera with a BSI sensor, auto focus and LED flash. Additionally it has a 1.3 megapixel front facing camera. The company has pre-loaded apps like Q Remote which can be used to control home appliances, Q Memo, Q Translator which recognizes 44 languages with OCR through the camera lens, Q Slide for easier multitasking and an upgraded Rubberdium Pen 2.0 stylus which has a thinner tip.

It is equipped with all the prime connectivity features including LTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, DLNA, WiFi direct, Bluetooth 4.0, HDMI and NFC capability. The device has 2GB of RAM, 16GB of built-in memory, micro SD card slot and a 2,150 mAh battery. It will go up for sale in Korea this week for approximately USD 864 and will be available in Black, Illusion White and Illusion Pink colors.
