Lenovo Thinkpads - quieter than a waterdrop

The latest buzz in the PC market is the new range of ThinkPad laptops that make virtually no noise.

They feature the 8th generation Owl Wing Fans, a unique design technology that reduces the noise of the laptop to a mere 30 decibels.

The fact becomes even more interesting when you understand how loud the noises we hear every day are. A typical air conditioner makes 60 decibels while a normal conversation is usually 50 decibels. But even that's a lot louder than a ThinkPad, because the sound of a drop of water is just 40 decibels.
