LAVA names Sanjeev Agarwal as manufacturing head

NEW DELHI: Mobile handset maker LAVA International Wednesday appointed Sanjeev Agarwal as its Chief Manufacturing Officer.

"Sanjeev will play a key role in providing fillip to company’s plan of starting a manufacturing unit in India," the company in a statement said.

Prior to joining LAVA, Agarwal worked at companies such as Celetronix, LG Electronics, Sony India and Moser Baer.

"Sanjeev brings with him around 24 years of rich experience of working in the operations and manufacturing sector which will help in augmenting LAVA’s manufacturing capabilities and also focus on starting domestic production of LAVA’s mobile devices in India." Hari Om Rai, Chairman & Managing Director, LAVA International said.
