Xolo A600: Xolo’s latest Android smartphone has a 4.5-inch IPS display (960 x 540 pixels). It is powered by a 1.3Ghz dual core Mediatek processor and 512MB RAM along with 4GB internal storage that can be expanded using microSD card (up to 32GB supported).

It has a 5MP rear camera that does video recording in 720p HD resolution and a VGA front camera for video calls. Xolo claims 10 hours of talktime with the 1,900mAh battery. Other features include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity.

Nikon Df

The Nikon Df merges a traditional film camera with modern DSLR at a price tag of US$ 2,749 (body only). For the price you get a 16MP full frame CMOS sensor (the same as the Nikon D4) with support for almost any legacy Nikon or compatible lens. The Df has a 3D tracking supported 39 point autofocus system and can shoot 5.5 frames per second.

The weather-proof magnesium alloy body has dials for exposure, ISO, shutter speed, 3.2-inch LCD, optical viewfinder and a battery capable of 1400 photos on a single charge. Although it has mini HDMI, the Nikon Df does not support video recording. It is expected to be available in the market from December 2013 onwards.

Maingear Pulse 17

At 21.6mm, this is the world’s slimmest, full-fledged 17-inch gaming notebook. Powered by fourth generation Intel Core i7 processor, Nvidia GeForce GTX 765M graphics card and 16GB DDR3 RAM, the notebook has a 256GB SSD for Windows 8 and a separate 1TB HDD for storage.

It weighs 2.7kg, has built-in 2.1 speakers with Creative Sound Blaster Cinema audio. Other features include full HD resolution, HDMI, four USB 3.0 ports, dual mini DisplayPorts, 8x DVD writer, 2MP webcam and a 6-cell battery. Priced at US$ 2,099 onwards, the Pulse 17 will be available from November 2013 onwards.
