Lava Iris 506q



Powered by a 1.2Ghz quad core processor with 512MB RAM, this new Android 4.2 smartphone from Lava has a 5-inch display (960 x 540 pixels). It comes with 4GB storage (expandable), dual cameras (5MP autofocus rear and VGA front) and 2,000mAh battery in a slim (8.9mm) design. For connectivity, it offers 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0 and also has light, proximity and a gravity sensor.

Sony QX Lenses



Available in two variants — QX10 and QX 100, these add-on lenses can work with your existing iOS and Android smartphone. The lenses connect with the phone over WiFi and also have a microSD slot to store images. The QX10 has an 18MP sensor, 10X optical zoom, image stabilisation and records 1080p video.

The QX100 has a large (1-inch) 20MP sensor with f1.8 aperture and 3.6x optical zoom (the same components as Sony's CyberShot RX100 II). Both lenses offer a battery life of around 200 shots and are controlled on the phone using a free Sony app.

Panasonic P11



The second Android smartphone from Panasonic has a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS display and is powered by a 1.2Ghz quad core processor. It also has 1GB RAM, 4 GB internal storage, microSD slot (supports up to 32GB card) and a 2,000mAh battery. It offers dual SIM support, weighs 160 grams and also has dual cameras (8MP rear and 2MP front).

Lenovo Ideapad Y510p



This Windows 8 gaming notebook has a 15.6-inch full HD display and is powered by a 4th generation Intel Core i7 processor. It has dual Nvidia GeForce GT 750M GPUs, 8GB RAM and a 1TB hard drive. A brushed metal exterior and full size backlit keyboard completes the look. Apart from the usual array of ports, the Y510p also comes includes a SPDIF port for digital (multi-channel) audio output.
