Karbonn A30:

Karbonn claims that their A30 is the first smartphone in the world with a 5.9-inch touchscreen. However, the resolution is just 800 x 480 pixels — disappointing for this size screen. It supports dual SIMs, runs Android 4.0 and comes preloaded with a suite of apps. Inside is a 1Ghz dual core processor, 512MB RAM, 4GB internal storage (expandable) and a 2,500 mAh battery. On the rear is a 8MP autofocus camera with LED flash while the front has a 1.3MP camera. Weighing a hefty 280 grams, it also has Wi-Fi with hotspot, 3G, Bluetooth, FM, GPS, proximity/light sensor and a 3D G-Sensor.



Videocon smartphone range:



Videocon has ventured into the smartphone segment with the launch of two phones: A20 and A30. Both are dual SIM (dual standby) Android phones with expandable storage, stereo FM, Wi-Fi, 3G, Bluetooth, GPS and come with a front VGA camera for video calling. The A20 (Rs4,999) has a 3.5-inch touchscreen, Android 2.3, 1Ghz processor, 3MP rear camera and 1,350 mAh battery. The A30 (Rs7,299) features a 4-inch touchscreen, Android 4.0, 1Ghz dual core processor, 5MP autofocus camera with LED flash on the back and a 1,500 mAh battery.

Portronics Pure Sound Pro:



Portronics has launched a new battery-powered portable sound bar. It weighs about 1kg, can easily be carried around and has a small LCD in front for selecting modes and adjusting functions. Portronics claims that the 'Turbo Bass' technology delivers deep bass while the acoustically tuned design provides rich and clear sound. The device has built in FM and a media player to play compatible music formats from any regular USB drive or SD memory card. It also has an aux-in port to connect with other devices such as televisions, MP3 players or phones. The built-in Li-ion rechargeable battery offers over eight hours of music playback on a full charge.
