The swanky looking VS2721E is a 2.1 speaker system that comes with a powered sub-woofer. Each satellite speakers has a 3-inch mid-range driver and 1.5-inch tweeter. The 4-inch side-firing subwoofer complements the sound with deep bass. The wired controller has a large volume control dial, a 3.5mm headphone jack and a line-in jack for connecting multiple devices easily. With a total output power of 28 Watts RMS, the system should be good enough for most mid-size rooms. Altec Lansing claims that the speakers, enclosure and electronics have been balanced for top-notch quality with all types of audio.
