Kingston launches Personal Media Player

NEW DELHI: Kingston Technology Company has launched a new line of Personal Media Players (PMPs). K-PEX (Kingston Personal Entertainment eXperience) allows users to watch videos, listen to music, play video games and store/view photographs.

NEW DELHI: Kingston Technology Company has launched a new line of Personal Media Players (PMPs). K-PEX (Kingston Personal Entertainment eXperience) allows users to watch videos, listen to music, play video games and store/view photographs.

The player is currently available in North America, Latin America and Asia/Pacific Rim. K-PEX will be come with memory capacities of 1 GB and 2 GB and will have a miniSD slot for downloading music, video and photographs directly onto the memory card. The kit will include a USB 2.0 cable, earphones, transcoder software CD, protective cover, and lanyard. As a special promotion, the initial 4k 2GB players will come bundled with a free Kingston miniSD card.

Weighing 2.2 ounces, the player supports several formats including MP3, WMA, OGG and WAV. The PMP also features include a multi-region FM radio and 2" LCD screen.
