Karbonn Mobiles eyeing Rs 4,000 cr turnover in FY'14

CHENNAI: Handset manufacturer Karbonn is Mobiles aiming at registering a turnover of Rs 4,000 crore during this financial year, the company said.

The company reported Rs 2,400 crore during the last financial year, Karbonn said in a statement.

"Karbonn in financial year 2012-13 registered sales turnover was Rs 2,400 crore. The target for financial year 2013-14 is Rs 4,000 crore", Karbonn said in a statement.

Meanwhile, the company said it has inked a partnership with online digital entertainment service provider Hungama.com to offer ' Hungama Music App' in its smart phones.

As per the tie-up, Karbonn will offer the Hungama app pre-bundled with its range of smart devices to offer music, videos and live radio entertainment anytime anywhere, it said.

"The application will allow the users acess to the directory of international, Bollywood, regional and South Asian music and videos entertainment and will offer unlimited content free for upto 30days", the statement added.

Karbonn Mobiles has over 85,000 retailers and 870 service centres across the country.
