JioPhone 2 flash sale today: Price, features and everything you should know

Reliance Jio will hold flash sale for its smart feature phone, JioPhone 2, today at 12 pm on its website Jio.com. Riding on the popularity of the JioPhone 1, Reliance is targeting to increase the number of JioPhone users to 100 million. The new phone has some additional feature than the previous one, which emerged as the best-selling feature phone model in the world in the first quarter of 2018.

The 4G phone is priced at Rs 2,999

Unlike JioPhone1, which required a refundable deposit of Rs 1,500, JioPhone 2 buyers will have to pay the full amount

It’s a feature phone but supports access to apps like Facebook, WhatsApp, YouTube, Google Maps in addition to existing Jio Apps like JioCinema, JioChat, JioMusic etc.

The handset comes with a Qwerty keyboard and a 2.4-inch QVGA display.

It has a 2,000 mAh battery

The phone runs on KAI operating system, and comes with 512MB RAM and 4GB of internal memory

It has an expandable memory. The microSD card slot capacity can be expanded up to 128GB.

The phone comes with a 2 megapixel rear camera sensor and a VGA front camera sensor.
