JioFi free with Google Home starting at Rs 4,499; 100GB for Rs 149

Google today announced the launch of Google Home and Home Mini voice-activated speakers in India. While Google Home will be priced at Rs 9,999, Google Home Mini will cost Rs 4,499.

Jio has joined hands with the tech giant to offer free JioFi bundled with Google Home.

What is the offer?


* Buy Google Home/Google Home mini from Reliance Retail store to get the JioFi free.

* Customer is on-boarded on any FRC starting at Rs 149 (+ Prime Rs 99) and gets instant additional data benefits 100GB (10GB data x 10 vouchers) in his/her MyJio account

* The vouchers will be valid for the period of one year from the data of purchase.

Google Home, the device which understands Indian accents, would also respond in unique Indian contexts, according to Rishi Chandra, Vice President of Product Management, Google.

The top surface of the device contains LEDs that provide visual feedback when Google Home recognises the "Hey Google" command.

After this 100GB, customers will get data on the basis of the recharges they do.
