Intex launches dual-SIM Aqua i5 Mini smartphone at Rs 6,850

NEW DELHI: Intex, a domestic mobile and accessories company, Friday launched the Aqua i5 Mini smartphone for Rs 6,850.

Powered with 4.2.2 Jelly Bean Android OS, the new device runs on a 1.3GHz quad-core processor and features dual-sim capabilities, the comoany said in a statement.

Aqua i5 Mini has dedicated 1GB RAM and 4GB of in-built memory which is expandable upto 32GB and is equipped with four sensors.

“Intex Aqua i5 Mini is an affordable product that comes without compromising on its quality,” Sanjay Kumar Kalirona, business head- mobiles at Intex Technologies, said in the statement.

The new Intex smartphone comes in white colour with a free flip cover and is available at more that 40,000 resellers, retailers and hypermarkets and leading e-commerce portals across India.

Intex plans to launch around eight more models during the next quarter. It has already introduced 32 mid-segment smartphones under its Aqua range.

The company sold nearly 1.5 million smartphones last year.
