iBall rolls out its dual-SIM Andi 4.5 O'Buddy Android smartphone at Rs 4,990

Expanding its Andi-series smartphone range, iBall has now launched the dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) Andi 4.5 O'Buddy at a price of Rs 4,990 in India. The company will be offering the smartphone with a bundled smart cover.

Powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM, the 4.5 O'Buddy runs on Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box and packs an 1800mAh battery. The smartphone is equipped with a 4.5-inch (480x854 pixels) FWVGA display and comes with auto call recording feature.

On the camera front, it sports an 8MP rear camera and a 3.2MP front camera. Both these cameras are accompanied by LED flash modules.

iBall Andi 4.5 O'Buddy comes with 8GB of inbuilt storage that can be expanded up to 32GB using a microSD card.

When it comes to connectivity, the iBall Andi 4.5 O'Buddy offers GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth options. The most disappointing part about iBall Andi 4.5 O'Buddy is that it runs on the older version of Android, while there are other options in the market such as Micromax Canvas Spark, which at the same price point is offering Android 5.0 Lollipop.

Last month, iBall has launched two new smartphones the Andi 4F ARC3 and the Cobalt 6 for Rs 3,999 and Rs 13,999, respectively.
