HCL Technologies bags infrastructure management contract with Statoil

Norwegian government-owned energy major Statoil on Monday announced a multi-million dollar deal with India’s fourth-largest technology major HCL Technologies.

NEW DELHI Norwegian government-owned energy major Statoil on Monday announced a multi-million dollar deal with India’s fourth-largest technology major HCL Technologies, even as Norway’s investments suffered a loss in India’s telecom sector, due to a SC verdict this month.

The Norwegian ministry of petroleum and energy owns about 67% in Statoil, which is the largest oil and gas major in the region.
