Good news, we might see Xiaomi Mi 4C in India soon

Rumors have revealed the existence of the Xiaomi Mi 4c smartphone earlier, suggesting that it could be a slightly more powerful version of the Mi 4i which was launched this year. And it seems like the launch of the smartphone is all but confirmed as the retail packaging of the device has been spotted in the wild.

The retail packaging also reveals that the smartphone is packing a 1.8 GHz Snapdragon 808 processor underneath, which uses a 6-core CPU architecture and is used in lieu of the Snapdragon 810 octa core chip.

The box also shows that the handset has 16GB of onboard storage and a 3,000 mAh battery underneath. With the Android 5.1 based MIUI 7 already available, the handset should be running the OS by default.

The box also shows that the device will be USB Type C compatible, which is big news considering all the features it brings to the fore. The company has not yet revealed an announcement date for the smartphone, so we're still in the dark about when the Mi 4c will be finally revealed.

Knowing that the IFA 2015 is right around the corner, it's possible that Xiaomi will release the device during the event later this week.
