Gionee launches entry-level Pioneer P2S smartphone, takes on Moto E and Unite 2
NEW DELHI: Chinese device maker Gionee Wednesday launched its entry-level smartphone, Pioneer P2S, and priced it at Rs 6,499, pegging it directly against similarly priced Motorola's Moto E and Micromax’s Unite 2 smartphones.

Powered by Android 4.2 operating system, the Gionee Pioneer P2S runs on a 1.3 GHz dual core processor and is equipped with a 512 RAM. The device also features an ARM Mali400 MP Graphics processor.

The Pioneer P2S features a 4-inch screen and has a 5 mega pixel rear camera and front facing VGA camera.

The dual SIM, dual standby smartphone comes with an in-built 4GB memory, which can be expanded using micro SDcard to up to 32 GB. The smartphone is backed by a 1600 mAh battery.

Gionee P2S is available in blue, yellow and red colour.

The company has so far launched 16 mobile handset models, both smartphones and feature phones, in the Indian market.
