First Blackberry Premium Store in India opened in Delhi

Canadian smartphone maker Research In Motion on Thursday opened its first BlackBerry Premium Store in Delhi.

BANGALORE: Canadian smartphone maker Research In Motion on Thursday opened its first BlackBerry Premium Store in Delhi. Located at M6, Connaught Place in New Delhi, this is the first such store for the Canadian phone maker and it will feature the entire BlackBerry product portfolio.

"Serving as a gateway into the world of BlackBerry, The BlackBerry Premium Store will offer holistic consumer experience on BlackBerry consumer and enterprise services to its consumers," the company said in a statement.

The stores will provide customers the opportunity to discover the BlackBerry experience within special zones featuring consumer and enterprise applications along with product service and a demo zone to highlight performance of BlackBerry smartphones, the statement said. A team in store will deliver information and advice to customers.

The BlackBerry premium store will be open seven days a week and the company plans to open similar stores in key metro cities in India in a phased manner.
