Casio introduces new range of keyboards

CHENNAI: Japanese consumer electronics major Casio today introduced a new range of keyboards — ' GenNext Pro series' in Tamil Nadu, considered one of their main markets.

Priced between Rs 16,995 and Rs 33,995, the four new keyboards are aimed at attracting ardent music lovers, Casio India Sales and Marketing Head, K Seth said.

"Casio is always introducing products with features, which contribute to the lifestyle of individuals using them. These new keyboards contain unique features that will definitely increase the interest in music of new generation youth," he said after unveiling the keyboards.

"Chennai is a good market for us because of the presence of a large number of musicians (here)," he said.

The new products launched are the base model CTK-6000, CTK-6500 and top models like WK 7000 and WK 7500, respectively.

Seth said the USP of the products was they support all kinds of playability such as performing for a band, solo performing and also in the creation of music.

He said the new range was equipped with up to 800 diverse tonnes and has 250 rhythms in-built.
