Canon India eyes generating Rs 2,100 crore revenue
The company announced the launch of three feature-packed digital cameras -- the PowerShot G15, PowerShotS110 and PowerShot SX50 HS digital cameras.
"Canon India, subsidiary of Canon Singapore Pte Ltd, targets a growth of Rs 2,100 crore in 2012 which is 32 per cent over last year," Canon India said in a statement.
The company last year generated revenues of Rs 1,525 crore.
Meanwhile, the company announced the launch of three feature-packed digital cameras -- the PowerShot G15, PowerShotS110 and PowerShot SX50 HS digital cameras.
Both PowerShotG15 and Powershot S110 models include a 12.1 megapixel high-sensitivity CMOS image sensor for high image quality.
The PowerShot S110 includes a wi-fi connectivity while PowerShot SX50HS comes with the World's first 50x optical zoom in a digital camera.
Canon India currently has offices in 10 cities warehouses in 13 cities across India, employing over 1,100 people, the statement added.
